The Invicta RC committee for 2008 is as listed below.  Do contact any committee member to discuss activities or issues you would like raised at the next meeting of the committee.
Michael Baker, Alison Brown, Diana Burford, Rita Burniston, Jane Elwell,  Joss Hubble, Kim Leney, Louise Perry, Carol Robertson, and Mally Spens.

Sadly Tamsin Keeley has decided that she will no longer have the time to devote to committee duty now that she is so busy with her new venture at Barminster Trading.  She will therefore be standing down and we are looking for a similar enthusiast to replace her!  We also would like to take this opportunity of thanking Tam for all her hard work in organising fixtures for all members to enjoy.
Keep in touch with Tam and visit Barminster Trading for all your equestrian requirements.  TELEPHONE: 01233 820020.  Web: www.barminstertrading.co.uk

14th JuneCongratulations to our quintet of dressage riders who made the long trek to Maresfield in Sussex for the 2008 Area Dressage Qualifier.  This was a new venue for the competition and provided plenty of space for parking and working in, although the grass was rather long in some areas which caused a problem for small dogs!  However the arduous journey for our riders was well rewarded with a pile of rosettes!  Cathy White and Dippy won both their classes and now qualify for the Dressage to Music finals at Addington in October.  Theresa Knott with Grouse gained a second and sixth place; Naomi Henderson also a second and seventh place with her homebred mare, Watchover Dineke.  Janet Roffey and Kitty took fourth place in the Dressage to Music as well third place in Novice 20.  Jenny Roberts and Solly had a very early start being the first of our riders in the arena and they gained fifth place in the Elementary 48.  The team finished in a very creditable fifth place by a small margin of three marks from the winners Sevenoaks.  Special thanks to Battle & District Riding Club for hosting the event at the 11th hour and also to Jane Elwell and Jennet Fisher who had a tough time in the scorers tent!  Check out the Album page for pics of our riders!

ALSO -  Club polo shirts and fleeces are available to purchase - very smart and displaying the club logo.  Do contact Diana if you would like to purchase one.
